BACKGROUND:
In 1995, the
United States Postal Service began the complete renovation of 90 Church
Street for conversion from a postal service facility to postal/commercial
usage. EMTEQUE Corporationís staff members have been involved in the environmental
remediation of this property since 1995 and we are currently in the process
of designing phase 4 of the asbestos and lead abatement, which represents
the balance of the building. This program included significant asbestos,
lead and indoor air quality issues that needed timely and cost-effective
resolution. This renovation program included almost one-million square
feet of office space, with a project budget of over $4MM.
