BACKGROUND:
The 20,000 square foot basement area of this NYC agency-occupied space experienced both water infiltration and a flood from a defective sump pump, causing extensive mold and microbial contamination. EMTEQUE was tasked to perform multiple services at this site, which included conducting a microbial survey; preparation of a scope of work for all remediation activities; coordinating a site walk-through and managing the subsequent three-bid process; performing HVAC duct cleaning and disinfecting services; supervising all remediation activities; in addition to final airborne microbial testing, clearance, reporting and project close-out.
