BACKGROUND:
EMTEQUE Corporation provided numerous environmental services to McClier to help delineate, analyze and remediate a large fuel oil spill that occurred at the Walnut Avenue MTA bus depot in the south Bronx. The project tasks included inspection well installation and monitoring, remediation design and site management. EMTEQUE implemented an enhanced fluid recovery system, also know as groundwater polishing, and then successfully petitioned the NYSDEC to close the state file on the long-standing spill.
