BACKGROUND:
EMTEQUE worked with the Related Companies and Time-Warner to provide a full range of environmental, construction/engineering consulting and health & safety services. The environmental services included a confirmatory asbestos survey; Phase I ESA; the purging, removal and closure of a dozen aboveground gasoline and fuel oil tanks; demolition design plans; asbestos design plans; asbestos air monitoring; asbestos variance approval; in addition to numerous site safety and engineering inspections. EMTEQUE field staff were on-site during this major abatement and demolition project for over nine months, helping the Related Companies to come in under-budget for its relevant project components.
